US Customers Please Read New Updates On February 1st, 2021

SHIPMENT SUSPENSION DUE TO COVID-19

Since the beginning of April, Japan Post has stopped accepting international mails to certain countries due to cancellation of flights. Refer to the most updated list in the image below. Last update was on August 7, 2020.

For countries that are not on the suspension list such as Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Singapore and the Philippines, it is taking significantly longer for packages to get processed and dispatched by Japan Post. Even EMS express mail can now take up to several weeks before there is any movement.

Some Registered SAL parcels sent in March were returned to JapanHomeMaker and many orders sent at the beginning of April have been stuck in limbo.

Due to the current situation, JapanHomeMaker has decided to hold off on ALL shipment as of April 15th until global logistics is back to normal and shipping restrictions are lifted. (Refer to updates below for the list of countries with shipping already resumed) This decision is to protect customers' interest as packages may get lost in the chaotic system and if packages get returned, extra shipping cost may be incurred etc...

As a result, the shipment time table listed below for ALL orders will be updated later. Please check back once in a while for updates because JapanHomeMaker cannot answer thousands of customers' shipment inquiries.

For customers who received tracking information with the status "Returned To Sender", JapanHomeMaker will re-send the packages again when the situation allows. Please be re-assured that your items are safe and you will not be charged again for shipping cost if you are not requesting to change your original shipping option. New tracking number will be provided and JapanHomeMaker will contact buyers individually for any exceptional case.

At this extremely difficult time for the entire world, JapanHomeMaker asks for everyone's understanding and patience. Please refrain from emailing constantly asking when orders can be shipped. All orders are in good hands and worrying will just increase anxiety reducing your immunity in a time where you need immunity the most.

Update On May 27, 2020 (Appended On June 18)

Starting end of May and within the month of June, JapanHomeMaker will resume EMS / Airmail shipping to the following countries that ARE NOT on Japan Post's suspension list:

* Asia - Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia

* Europe - Germany, France, The Netherlands, Finland, The United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Portugal

* North, Central & South America - Canada, Mexico

Customers from the above countries will be receiving tracking numbers by email. Please be aware that it is still taking much longer than usual for packages to arrive their destinations. Tracking may be stuck for a couple of weeks without any update on status. Please be patient and allow the postal service time for things to get scanned and processed.

On the other hand, Registered SAL shipping is still NOT available to ALL countries including the ones mentioned above. If you have chosen this shipping method for your order, your items will be on hold for shipment until the restrictions are removed. Also, for other countries that are still being suspended, please stay tuned for further notice.
